Beloved husband of Margaret. Loving father of Carla Comely, Joyce (Jerry) Blanton, Johnny Shields, Troy (Nancy) Shields, Alisa (Greg) Schaaf and Richard (Janese) Johnson. Dearest grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 4. Dear brother of Maelene (Morrison) Cooper, Dorothy Montgomery, Viola Bailey and Almedia (Ed) Rice. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Lena Shields and his brother, Alvin Shields. Entombment in Michigan Memorial Park.
